On the evening of October 29th, the community of Craighall Park enthusiastically flooded the streets in a delightful display of Halloween spirit, engaging in the time-honoured tradition of trick-or-treating. This lively event owed much of its success to the diligent efforts of the CraigPark Residents’ Association’s dedicated Engagement Portfolio, which orchestrated the participation of numerous households despite the unpredictable weather conditions.
One particular street that shone brightly in the Halloween festivities was Rutland Avenue, where residents went above and beyond to create a memorable experience. Stalk walkers, balloon artists, and face painters transformed the neighbourhood into a lively and colourful spectacle, showcasing the creativity and community spirit that defines Craighall Park.
A standout highlight of the evening was the Haunted Forest, a project spearheaded by enthusiastic resident, River James. This spine-chilling venture proved to be a resounding success, capturing the attention and awe of everyone in attendance. The meticulous planning, creativity, and dedication that went into the production were truly something to behold. Even some unsuspecting adults found themselves on the receiving end of heart-pounding frights, a testament to the immersive and thrilling experience River James and the team curated.
The Haunted Forest stands as a shining example of the incredible contributions residents make to the community, transforming it into a place that goes beyond being just a home—it’s a great place to live, thanks to the collective efforts of its residents. The festivities were a true celebration of unity, creativity, and the communal spirit that makes Craighall Park a unique and wonderful neighbourhood to call home.
