For the second consecutive year, the CraigPark Residents’ Association (CRA) has proudly sponsored the clearance of storm water drains leading into the Braamfontein Spruit, enhancing the environmental health and cleanliness of our local precinct. This initiative is spearheaded by the CRA in collaboration with Bubele Africa and is generously funded by the CRA alongside contributions from several local business members.

This ongoing effort is part of a larger commitment to maintain the cleanliness of the Braamfontein Spruit and surrounding areas. A dedicated team from Bubele Africa not only clears the Braamfontein Spruit twice weekly, ensuring the free flow of storm water, but also undertakes regular clean-up projects within our neighbourhood. By addressing blocked storm water drains and litter accumulation, the CRA and Bubele Africa are working together to prevent flooding, reduce pollution, and promote a healthier ecosystem for both residents and local wildlife.

This initiative is a testament to the power of community-driven action and the invaluable role of partnerships in preserving our shared spaces. We extend our gratitude to Bubele Africa and our business sponsors for their support and dedication to these conservation efforts.
